Sundays at St. George's Church
We normally have two gatherings on a Sunday morning, however, this can change for special occasions, outside school term time, or church calendar events (e.g. Mothering Sunday, Easter, Christmas etc). For information on the upcoming Sunday, please check our Facebook page (where we post Sunday service times weekly) or contact the church office and ask to be added to our weekly news-sheet mailing list.
A very warm welcome awaits at either service, or both - we'd love to see you!
We also offer refreshments in the Church Centre from 10am-10:30am for both services.
9am Worship Service in the Church
Our 9am traditional service lasts an hour and includes liturgy, from the Common Book of Prayer, and Holy Communion.
Sung Worship is accompanied by the organ or a recording. This service is a peaceful environment for individual reflection.
Parking is available on Court Road, but a short uphill walk is required to get to the church building.
Hot/cold drinks and biscuits are provided afterwards from 10am-10:30am in the Church Centre and everyone's welcome.
10:30am gathering in the Church Centre
Our 10:30am family gathering lasts about an hour, and includes sung worship, Bible teaching, and groups for the children to attend.
Hot/cold drinks and biscuits are provided before from 10am-10:30am and everyone's welcome.
