Mike Smith is the Church Leader of St. George’s Church in Brockworth. After working in IT for nearly 15 years, he studied Theology for 8 years and became a minister in the Church of England in 2015. He is married to Sarah and has three boys. He enjoys meeting people, hearing their life stories and seeing the Kingdom of God at work in people’s lives.
Karen has worked for the church for 12 years. She is familiar with the area as she grew up locally and has family in Brockworth. She can be found in the Church Office during the week between 9.30am-11.30am.
Gordon was licensed as a Reader at St. John’s Parish Church, Cirencester, in November 1992 to serve at St George’s Church, Brockworth, and still holds that office today, with the additional Permission to Officiate. He is also a part of the preaching team, he regularly visits the housebound and is a member of the Open the Book team which visits schools.
Louisa was licensed at Gloucester Cathedral in 1995 to St Katherine's in Matson, and after two years had her license transferred to St George's in Brockworth. Louisa is part of the preaching team, a volunteer at a local charity shop and a member of the Chaplaincy Team at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital.
