HOW TO SUPPORT OUR WORK
AT ST GEORGE'S
We are deeply grateful to everyone who supports the mission and ministry of St. George’s. Your generosity helps preserve our beautiful Norman church and enables us to serve the Brockworth community with compassion and dedication.
Like many churches, we face ongoing financial challenges. Yet, despite these difficulties, we remain steadfast in preserving our historic church and serving our community with dedication and care.
If you feel called to support us financially—thank you!
Every gift, whether one-time or monthly, makes a meaningful difference.
You can give securely through the links below or via our card donation stations in the church and the church centre. If you are a church member, we encourage you to set up a regular tithe through the Parish Giving Scheme, for reasons mentioned below.
Thank you for your kindness and generosity - we couldn’t do this without you!
Other ways to give
SUPPORT US THROUGH
THE PARISH GIVING SCHEME
We are proud to be a member of the Parish Giving Scheme, a trusted and efficient way to give through regular direct debit payments. We encourage members who give regularly to use this method, as it ensures the full amount of your donation goes directly to the church, with no processing fees deducted. Plus, if you're eligible for Gift Aid, the scheme automatically handles the necessary paperwork, increasing the benefit to our church at no additional cost to you.
For more information, watch the video at the bottom of this page.
EASYFUNDRAISING
Did you know you can help raise funds for St. George's every time you shop online? Simply register with EasyFundraising and shop with over 4,000 retailers, and a percentage of your purchase will be donated to our church.
It's an easy way to support us while doing your regular shopping!
Plus, there's a handy Chrome extension you can install to remind you when you visit websites that qualify.
CONTACTLESS GIVING
There is a contactless Giving Station in the church (at the rear), and one in the Church Centre (in the corridor), for contactless and/or card donations.
If you find either of these devices to not be functioning correctly, please report it to the church office.
ST GEORGE'S TOTE BAGS
You may have spotted some rather lovely St George’s tote bags around Brockworth!
Unique to our church, these big, sturdy bags are perfect for everyday use - and every penny raised goes towards reducing St George’s deficit.
£15 per bag - think of it as a £15 donation to St George’s, with a lovely tote bag as our thank-you gift!
