The  garden around the church needs a regular tidy up 3-4 times a year, so we ‘re always looking for willing people from the community to join our cheery team.

We meet on Saturday mornings to do as much as we can to keep the Churchyard looking smart. Refreshments are provided halfway through but you might want to bring a water bottle.

 

Volunteers are requested to bring their own tools, but don’t let that stop you joining us if you don’t own any - we can always find something for you to do.

​

Wheelbarrows and brooms are especially useful.

And don't forget your gardening gloves if you have any.

 

Children must be supervised at all times, and all jobs are undertaken at your own risk.

 

A rough idea of who is turning up is helpful, for providing refreshments and jobs, so if you're planning on joining us, please let either Pat Hartwell or Claire Sandys know or email garden@stgeorgesbrockworth.org.

 

Of course, last minute folk are always very welcome too.
